Seven distinct drive modes help your SUV adapt to different road conditions. Normal for around-town driving, Sport for more spirited trips, Tow/Haul for improved towing and hauling performance, Eco, Grass/Gravel/Snow for loose terrain, Sand for low-traction situations, and Mud/Ruts for uneven surfaces. Manually select either 2WD or 4WD modes in a given drive mode, it's your choice on your terrain.

Control Trac® 4WD System

What begins as a level patch of dirt can suddenly become a stretch of rutted mud. That's when the available Control Trac® 4WD System comes into play. When activated, it locks the rear axle completely to optimize traction improving off-road performance when the terrain requires it.
